Ebony Veil, Morning. The warriors of Mol Rehan have continued their campaign of harassment against Libila's chosen, attacking this strategic town of the Horde of the Summoned for the last few days. There seems little let up in their Holy War.
Right outside the walls of Ebony Veil they waged a naval battle with three of Libila's warriors until they were chased off by the valiant defenders. Over the air they flung accusations that the damned ones were using majicks of the most despicable kind when one of theirs fell to the strong, cursed blades of the Horde.
This was not the end of the battle however, and this act of mercy upon the soul of the heathen known as ZarmaZarmaex to his comrades by Libila’s chosen soon triggered reprisals upon the faithful.
Mol Rehan returned with a greater force; their ranks swollen by enlisting simple townspeople to bolster their numbers as they took their vengeance for the death. Two more of Libila's towers crumbled to the Mol Rehan weapons, despite the heroic efforts of two villagers to halt the destruction by the hands of these infidels. The strange and insulting speech filled the air, mixed with words that made no sense whatsoever, but were shouted in the heat of revenge.
Having completed their objectives, the morally perverted citizens of Mol Rehan retreated to the west, obviously hoping to scurry away to their holes in the ground. But it was soon obvious that the leadership of the Horde would not simply take a hit and turn aside.
Daolin the Emperor of Libila’s holy kingdom, and his shadowy Assassin and Champion of Libila known as Doctorchaos rallied and pursued the invaders. They sailed to the west and fought the heathen forces on the shores of Ebony Veil, scattering their number to the wind. They pursued them picking them off one by one while the rest retreated up the hill towards the former site of the old powerhouse of the Horde, Libilan Outlawz.
Here, up on the hill, a great battle was fought. The Emperor and his Assassin cut through the defending Mol Rehans with an unholy fire stirred in their hearts by Libila’s power, and Her hate of the invading peoples. Even as they tried to rally their forces the Mol Rehan were cut down until such time She deemed enough blood had been spilled for their trespasses. The two brave warriors retreated back into the forest, leaving their enemies to lick their wounds while they counted the treasures they had claimed in Her name, and returning their enemies corpses to the capital for display and resurrection, so the battle could be replayed for the young ones to learn from.
The battle maybe done, but it seems like the war is only just beginning.
