Who in Wurm is that!
So hi there! Since we’re being encouraged to participate in this blog thing I thought I’d start my writing career off with an introduction. At some point I figure I’ll write something a little more relivant but for now I figure it’d be a good start to be self centered. Nothing like talking about yourself to get the creative juices flowing!
I’m a pretty plain lady from the west coast of Canada. Typically my days are filled with weaving chainmail (I have RL 70 chainsmithing skill!), reading books and writing source material for traditional tabletop rp games. Yes yes, I am a D&D 2nd Ed Advanced geek! Either be impressed or make jokes about casting magic missle at the darkness <_<. I have a pet cat named murder, a bearded dragon named svartalf, and a collection of crickets that generally go unnamed as they are devoured rather rapidly. I am generally dedicated to my computer spending the majority of my time with my laptop at my side or sitting with my desktop and you can’t ever catch me without music playing!
I started wurm back in Gold one about two months after the servers had started. Sometime therafter Unforgiven, the head GM at the time asked me to CM, and while that probably wasn’t a very good idea I didn’t really think it would be polite to say no. So to some peoples chagrin I picked up a mantle of tyranny over kchat. Muah hahah! Sadly gold 1 came to an end but thankfully the game went on! Dispite taking a long break between the reset and starting my own play again I returned and found wurm as wonderful as it had been and much improved with some interesting new features.
After settling in comfortably I resumed CM duties which hadn’t changed a bit. Phew! The big change would be a month later though when Oracle decided to promote me. How exciting! And so now I bide my time fairly quietly and typically invisibly flitting about watching for people I can give a hand to. Unfortunately life being rather busy I don’t get to dedicate too much time to being active as I’d like but hopefully soon everyone will be getting to see a little more of me around. Currently you’ll likely find me on MRH or GV, though with the upcoming changes who knows where I’ll be!
