Anthem Competition Rules and Conditions PDF Print E-mail

Please ensure that you read and understand these rules and conditions before submitting your entry to the Wurm Online Anthem Competition

In entering the Wurm Online Anthem Competition, you agree to abide to the following rules and conditions.

This competition is open only to registered players of Wurm Online. Players must be registered with either a FREE TO PLAY (Basic Account) or a PREMIUM ACCOUNT. Players must enter using their PRIMARY account only. Alt accounts must not be used for entry submissions. All such submissions will be discarded. You may register for Wurm Online here.

Employees and agents of OneTooFree AB are nor illegible to submit an entry to this competition.

All entries must be submitted using the online form provided for such purpose to registered players and must not be submitted in any other way.

You may only submit one lyric per form submission. In the event of multiple lyrics being submitted on the same form, only the first lyric will be accepted, all other lyrics will be discarded.

Players may submit a maximum of 1 entry for each anthem. If more entries are submitted, then only the first entry by date submitted will be considered. All others will be discarded.

Players should ensure that they retain a copy of their competition entries.

All entries must be submitted by the closing date and time of Midnight (GMT) on the 31st May 2008

Winners will be notified by email and the three winning entries will be posted on the Wurm Online website.

The prize for the winning entry for each anthem will be 6 months premium membership of Wurm Online commencing from the date of the winning announcement, or the cessation of the players current premium period, which ever is later. In addition, a prize of 20 Silver (in the fictional currency of the Wurm Online Game) will be added to the winning players’ accounts and the title Renowned Bard will be added to their character.

OneTooFree AB reserve the right to alter the winning lyrics.

Prizes will be allocated to the winners’ accounts by OneTooFree AB on the date of the winning announcement. No cash alternative or any other alternative will be offered for the prize.

The decision of the judging panel will be final. OneTooFree AB will not accept any appeal or representation directly or indirectly to the judging panel or to representatives of OneTooFree AB.

In entering the competition and submitting the entry form you agree to and understand the following:

 

1 I am submitting the lyric which accompanies this form (the “Lyric”) to OneTooFree AB (“OneTooFree AB”), as an entry in the Wurm Online Anthem Competition (“the Competition”). The lyric is an original lyric and was created solely by me.
2 I understand that, if my lyric is chosen as a winning lyric in the Competition, it may be used by OneTooFree AB in various forms, including but not limited to reproduction, distribution, and public performance as well as in signs, brochures, websites, and other public displays. I further understand that there is no guarantee or assurance that my Lyric will be used in this fashion. I further understand that if my Lyric is selected as a winning lyric in the Competition, OneTooFree AB will publicly acknowledge me as the originator of the Lyric, but I will not receive any financial or other compensation, apart from the privately sponsored prize which has been specified for my winning entry in the official rules of the competition.
3 In consideration of the right to participate in the Competition,
  A) I hereby unconditionally assign and transfer, to OneTooFree AB, the exclusive ownership of the Lyric and all rights to use, copy, reproduce, publish, print and reprint, distribute, sell, and publicly display the Lyric, in whatever manner OneTooFree AB shall see fit.
  B) I hereby release and agree to hold harmless OneTooFree AB, and their employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates and Joss Sanglier from all claims, suits, causes of action, and liability arising out of my participation in the Competition, including the assignment and transfer of rights in (A) above.
