At last, here are the Winning Entries to the Great Wurm Anthem Competition!
The six judges have gone through the entries with a fine tooth comb and made their final decision. So, without any more mucking around, here are the results.
Mol Rehan Anthem
Winner is: Iron Lion
Horde of the Summoned Anthem
Winner: Zort
Jenn Kellon Anthem
Winner: Iron Lion (Again!)
Congratulations to the Winners - Rolf will sort out your prizes as soon as he can.
And a great thanks from Team Wurm to all the people who entered and have waited patiently for us to decide on the winners. We had a lot of fun and were really impressed how hard everyone worked. In the end it was pretty tight - the judging panel had no idea who they were voting for or how each of them were voting, so it was as fair as we could make it.
And yes, one person has done especially well by winning two of the anthems - but my personal congratulations to both winners.
I will shortly be recording the anthems and will make them available on the site, and I will be deciding on the anthem names with the winners.

The fires burned fiecely on the great ramp that lead up to the fortified Palace of the Bard. A small band of noble warriors, men and women scarred by campaign after campaign, fought bravely to sack the town!  And so, filming for the "border" sequence of the forth coming Wurm Online Trailer "Wurm is Waiting" began. It is not easy to shoot such a sequence, and it took the patience of all those involved as they were directed to stand here, walk there, fight up a bit to the left and so on. But they did marvellously, and the result should be wonderful! |

Egal, one of our wonderful Developer type Wurmians found herself at the JavaOne 2008 conference in California and was soon chatting away to Chris Melissinos who is Chief Gaming Officer of Sun and is a long term fan of Wurm, as is rather obvious when you take a peak at his laptop. The smiling face, however, we attribute to being photographed by the lovely Egal! (I am going to be in so much trouble for that comment, I just know I am!) |

At last the waiting it over! The team behind Wurm Online is proud to launch our fantastic Anthem Competition. This is your chance to win a fantastic set of prizes and contribute to the amazing world of Wurm.
We have composed three mighty anthems for Wurm, and we want YOU to write the lyrics. Three winners, one for each anthem, will win 6 MONTHS premium time, 20 in-game Silver and the coveted title of Renowned Bard.
